'Imm al-Juwayn's Luma al-Adillah _{The Luminous Proofs}

This book entitled 'Imm al-Juwayn's Luma al-Adillah fi Qawid Aqid Ahl al-Sunna wa al-Jama (The Luminous Proofs behind the Principle Creeds of the People of the Sunnah and the Majority of Scholars)', or in short, 'Imm al-Juwayn's Luma al-Adillah - The Luminous Proofs' is an attempt to provide the reader with an English introduction and translation of a classical Arabic work in the subject of ilm al-Kalm. The Luma al-Adillah was written by the Ashar Imm Abd al-Mlik al-Juwayn with the aim to provide his students with a short educational manual on the demonstrable arguments and proofs behind the main creeds of Islam. This translation and annotation, therefore, provides contemporary readers with an introduction to the subject of ilm al-Kalm, a brief biography of Imam al-Juwayn, a synopsis of how Imm al- Juwayn systematically set out to demonstrate the rational arguments and proofs of the discourses related to the Muslim creed, and finally with an English translation of Luma al-Adillah side by side with the original Arabic text.
